Athiya, Huma, Sophie and Shabana in Designer Lehenga at Manish Malhotra’s CPAA Fashion Show . Athiya Shetty, Huma Qureshi and Shabana Azmi sashayed traditional Indian wear by Manish Malhotra as they turned showstoppers for the designer at the Pidilite CPAA fashion show held at NSCI Club in Worli, Mumbai. Sophie Choudry hosted the event and Armaan Malik performed on-stage. Huma Qureshi walked the ramp as one of the showstoppers wearing a blue shirt over an elaborate white lehenga. She finished her look with a clean ponytail and a three-string necklace.
Sophie Choudry compered the event wearing a lehenga choli by Manish Malhotra. It comprised a low cut blouse featuring mirror work along with a lehenga juxtaposing checks and a belt of brocade.
Shabana Azmi wore a striking red saree with a blue boat neck blouse. The veteran actress’ fondness for Manish and her association with him for the work she does in Mijwan is well-known.
Athiya Shetty was given a long kurta with a sharara in pale lavender colour to wear on the ramp along with a black dupatta which added a fair bit of contrast to her ensemble. A heavy choker neckpiece completed the Hero actress’ understated look.
The final curtain call saw Manish Malhotra walk the stage with his lovely showstoppers and singer Armaan. The different hues and fabrics of every celebrity’s garment on-stage made for a colourful picture for the cameras.
