Mumbai, 3rd August 2015: Sania Mirza smashed the show as the showstopper for Moni Agarwal’s royal and exquisite jewellery collection ‘Zohrakshi’ at the India International Jewellery Week 2015.
This stunning collection was showcased over the canvas of an array of ‘Devendri’ Saree. These are Kancheepuram Varamahalakshmi Silk Saree are all about timeless beauty and sheer elegance.
Sania feels, “I was very excited to walk for Moni Agarwal, she has done some amazing work in the past years. I especially loved the piece Moni designed for me – it’s spectacular, unlike anything I have ever seen. The piece made me feel beautiful as a woman. It is a great collection that highlights the beauty of flowers through dainty designs.”
Going by the name, the collection represents flowers. Flowers that are re-imagined, re-structured and reinvented in that immaculately original statement pieces by Hyderabad designer Moni Agarwal.
The designs are an epitome of all the most stunning flowers of the world, drawing from age-old traditions of floral-jewelry, yet marrying that ethos with edgy contemporary designs. Moni’s ethereal jewellery line is all about today’s woman, elegant yet restrained; classic yet forward; empowered yet subtle. Zohrakshi is her expression through ornaments.
