It was only fitting that the brand ambassador of the India International Jewellery Week 2013 close the show as she opened it – stunningly and with plenty of pizzazz and drama. Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor was undoubtedly the show-stopper at the grand finale of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW)2013 in Mumbai, India on August 8. The evening began with a performance by singer Shalmali Kholgade. She sang intermittently throughout the evening, livening up moments between shows and providing background music for some of them. There were two main presentations on the final day – creations by PCJ and the students of the Gemological Institute of India. The PCJ show in particular was quite exciting as director Madhur Bhandarkar and sultry siren Chitrangada Singh both walked the ramp for the brand.
